Machine Manufacturers participated to “Network training” realized by Matthias Freitag and Serena Junker from Chemnitz University on 29-30 September, in Feronya Hotel, Istanbul by support of Machine Manufacturers Association of Turkey (MIB) within the activities of VERITAS Project funded by EU 6th Framework Programme. TAGES is the consultant of MIB on VERITAS Project and coordinates all cooperative network activities.
Machine Manufacturers from compressor, superstructure and pump sectors had been trained on Cooperative networks by the experts Matthias Freitag and Serena Junker from Chemnitz University of Technology. The role playing model had been used during the network training.
The first day the participants had been informed about the concept of networking, the advantages of cooperative networks and about the roles and rules in networks. Trainers also gave concrete examples of cooperative networks coming from their previous experiences to trainees. The second day, trainees got informed on the roles in the network and on the coordination of the network. The participants had also discussed what kind of network manager can be appropriate for their sector and the trainers transmitted their experiences on the subject.
In the training, Machine Manufacturers worked on 3 examples of cooperative network which were modeled by their own. According to Walt Disney Circle Model they evaluated these examples by criticizing and by adjusting with realities. At the end of the training Machine Manufacturers defined the steps in order to set up these networks and to create awareness among other Machine Manufacturers.
TAGES is the consultant of MIB on VERITAS Project and coordinates all cooperative network activities. TAGES is also managing these two networks as a network manager hired by the VERITAS Project.
