The policy recommendations which are developed by Istanbul Information Society Watchdog Group are discussed in the Digital Conference of Istanbul sponsored by Turkcell on the 10th of July, 2012
The watchdog Group which was established within Istanbul Information Society Watchdog Group Project shared the policy recommendation report, which is the result of the studies carried out during the Project, in the Digital Conference sponsored by Turkcell on the 10th of July, 2012 and around 60 participants including the speakers and the experts from the ICT Sector attended to the conference
The event started by the opening speeches of Faruk Eczacıbasi, the chair of the board of TBV and Behcet Envarli, General Secretary of TBV and contiuned by the speeches of Dr. Tayfun Acarer, the president of Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK) and Leyla Arsan, Project Coordinator. Leyla Arsan shared the activities and their results of the Watchdog Group with all of the participants.
The speakers who are invited to the panel moderated by Assoc prof. Cemil Arikan, the Advisor of the Rector of Sabanci University shared their opinions and sugesstions on the policy.
