Boğaziçi (Bosphorus) Training & Consulting has organized a symposium for business sector on new incentive regime and the latest regulations on the 24th of June 2009 in Istanbul Marriot Hotel. The participants were informed about investment opportunities after new regulations, taxation, foreign trade, production incentives and supports, new KOSGEB applications, EU funding Programmes, Free Zones, R&D legislation and Foreign Based Opportunities. Gurbet Deniz Yavuz, Assistant Consultant at TAGES, has met with the participants with her presentation on Current EU funds for Enterprises and Rules for Participation in EU funding Programmes.
New Incentive Regime with the Latest Regulations Symposium has hosted the representatives of business sector in different fields from textile to food, from ceramics to banking. The experts have created awareness and provided information on different topics in the symposium. Gurbet Deniz Yavuz, Assistant Consultant at TAGES, participated to the symposium to provide information on the EU funding programmes from which enterprises can benefit. Yavuz, gave information on how to access to the funding programmes such as EU 7th Framework Programme, Eureka, Eurostars, Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, Leonardo da Vinci Programme and other funds specific for Turkey under the Instrument for Pre-accession Programme. She also talked about the working of the funding mechanism, rules for participation and project submission, important points in funding programmes with examples of funded projects in which Turkish companies have participated. She also presented the existing opportunities for enterprises with the examples of calls for project proposals that have been published or expected to be published.
Kezban Mutlu, from Çare Consultancy, was one of the speakers of the symposium and she shared her valuable knowledge on KOSGEB supports, new KOSGEB applications and the benefits for Turkish enterprises. Moreover, İbrahim Coşkun, also made a presentation on new R&D legislation and international funding supports for enterprises.
Ahmet Bilge, Certified Public Accountant, was also in the symposium to talk to the participants on New Government Incentives and Support with New Regulations, whereas Nevzat Erdağ, he is also Certified Public Accountant, provided information on Taxation Policies Encouraging Investments in Turkey. Associate Professor Şevket Sayılgan talked on the Investment Incentives in Turkey and Investment Decisions.
New Incentive Regime with the Latest Regulations Symposium has succeeded its aim to create awareness on EU funding programmes and other national supports, to donate the participants with knowledge on new incentive regime in Turkey, R&D supports and investment opportunities after the last changes in the regulation.
