The Trust4Future Project officially launched on November 1, 2024, funded by the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative, a European Union-supported program dedicated to strengthening Europe’s deep tech capabilities. Led by Edinburgh Napier University in collaboration with TAGES and Istanbul Blockchain Women Association, the project will run through August 31, 2025, focusing on the development of cutting-edge skills in cybersecurity, digital trust, and information security and blockchain.

A Strategic Collaboration for the Next Generation of Tech Talent

Trust4Future was born out of a shared ambition between TAGES and Edinburgh Napier University to bridge the talent gap in Europe’s growing deep tech sector. When the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative launched a call for training programs that prioritize innovation and inclusion, the opportunity to create meaningful impact became clear.

The initiative encouraged projects that not only foster deep tech skills but also promote diversity. A core requirement was that at least 50% of learners be women, aligning perfectly with the vision of Istanbul Blockchain Women Association, an organization at the forefront of empowering women in digital technologies in Türkiye. Together, the three partners developed a multidisciplinary project proposal focused on the intersection of trust, privacy, and digital identity—essential pillars of a secure digital society.

We are proud to share that the Trust4Future project was selected for 100% funding by the European Commission, reinforcing the importance of this work in Europe’s digital transformation journey.

Trust4Future goes beyond technical training—it represents a new model for inclusion and empowerment within deep tech. By centering women and underrepresented groups in the design and delivery of training, the project actively addresses the gender imbalance in cybersecurity and tech leadership roles.

As we move forward, the Trust4Future Project team is committed to creating a supportive and forward-thinking learning environment, cultivating digital trust expertise that meets the demands of a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

If you’re interested in joining our community of learners, partners, or supporters—get in touch. Let’s shape the future of cybersecurity, together.
