EKV Training Center a subsidiary of Eymir Culture Foundation in cooperation with TAGES organized a training on Innovation and Integration with EU Funds on April 15-16 2005 in Ortaköy Princess Hotel, Istanbul – (15-16 Nisan 2005 tarihlerinde Avrupa Birliği Fonları ile Yenilikçilik ve Bütünleşme Eğitimi, İstanbul Ortaköy Princess Otel’de Eymir Kültür Vakfı kuruluşu EKV Eğitim Merkezi tarafından TAGES işbirliği ile gerçekleştirilmiştir)
People from different industries participated to the training programme and received their certificates at the end of the training where the trainer was Leyla Arsan CEO of TAGES.
Participants were mainly from insurance, construction, manufacturing industries and civil society. At the beginning it was obvious that most of the trainees were not familiar with EU funds and European Union policies.
The training programme was composed of 6 main parts: European Union Innovation Policies and Strategies and the Logic of Integration, Understanding Work Programmes and Project Proposal Calls, Modeling a Project Idea, Finding Project Partners and Being Part of the Projects, Preparing Project Proposal Documents, Application and Follow-up, Project Management and Cooperative Working in EU Project Networks.
Participants had worked on their own project idea. First day, they created a project idea by cooperating and created a team. Second day, they wrote a sample project proposal concerning the developed and modeled project idea.
