OPEN project which consists of Turkish, Italian, Spanish and English partners, started with a kick-off meeting in Sevilla on the 30th November and the 1st December, 2012. The Project aims to develop an educational guide of a complete course for lifelong learning based on good business practices. TAGES is one of the Project partners, representing Turkey.
OPEN Project is a LLP (Life Long Learning Programme) Grundtvig Partnership Programme Project which will last 24 months. The Project addresses the development of a learning course in four thematic areas as follows: 2.0 Collaborative work and tools; Open innovation and knowledge transfer in the adult learning; Digital Marketing and Web 2.0 promotion and e-business and digital entrepreneurship for adult people.
The kick-off meeting which started after the welcome speech of Caridad Martínez, OPEN Project Coordinator, took place in the hall of the University Sevilla. In the first session of the meeting, all partners, Leyla Arsan, from TAGES, Caridad Martínez, Carlos Luna and Jose Manual Luna, from Inergia Digital, Federica Sottile and Pietrina Antonino, from Associazione Artistica Culturale La Rocca, Patrick Cross and Sheila Cross, from Gecko Programmes Ltd, introduced themselves to the consortium and informed their role in the project.
In the second part of the meeting, in order to achieve the aims of the Project, the Project activities to be performed have been clarified by the Project Coordinator. All partners worked on “Learning Guide for the lifelong learning course entitled: “Open innovation in adult learning” and “Guide of Good Practices in teaching digital and open innovation in the adult” and they prepared a plan in order to develop these guidelines.
In the next meeting of the Project which will be hosted by Gecko Programmes in Wolverhampton, all partners will share the good practices in the area of open innovation in their own countries and will prepare the guidelines by selecting the best practices.
At the end of the Project, an innovative course in adult education including innovative content based on intensive ICT for adults in SMEs and institutions will be ready by the studies and contributions of all partners during the Project.
