The fourth Project meeting of the OPEN (Open Innovation for Adult Learning) Project was hosted by the Italian Project partners, AROCCA, on July 04-06, 2013 in Sicily.
OPEN Project which is an LLP (Life Long Learning Programme) Grundtvig Partnership Programme Project, and aims to develop a learning course in four thematic areas, developed its second module on Open innovation and knowledge transfer to adult learning. The Project partners prepared the educational content and teaching methodology on Module 2 and also presented the best practice examples about successful use of Open Innovation tools in their countries during the fourth Project meeting on July 04-06, 2013 in Sicily, Italy.
During the meeting, the partners defined the objectives and the content of the theoretical programme of the module 2. It is aimed to develop the best theoretical programme for adults’ learning on open innovation and the use of the open innovation tools. The project partners defined the best practices in their country and presented them to all consortium during the meeting. The interesting best practices are; open innovation tools about crowdsourcing in Turkey and Italy and about space co-working in Spain and UK. The youtube videos of these best practices will be shared on the web-sites of the all partners soon.
At the end of the Project a learning guide and a best practices guide including for 4 modules will be ready for the benefits of the adults. The third module, Online marketing plan and web visibility, will be developed in the Fifth project meeting in Birmingham hosted by English partners in October 2013. The video records of the best practices will also be prepared during the entire project and will be shared with the project’s target group.
