GLASS, funded by European Union (EU) Horizon 2020 is an ongoing research and innovation action which allows citizens to carry their digital wallets wherever they go. Using ‘single sign-on wallet as a service’ GLASS regulates information access through Europe.
With GLASS, citizens get to control their own stories and data. Their bureaucratic process of moving abroad- for instance- is simplified and secured. Not only citizens but businesses and governments as well benefit from the project by its time-saving, data recording, sharing and documentation features. Besides, GLASS ensures data confidentiality, the integrity of interactions with a cost-effective, innovative e-governance platform.
At the end of her speech, she made a call to the potential stakeholders to team up in order to enhance the project by contributing on the development of the e-governance model of GLASS. TAGES, as one of the 13 partners, is taking charge of innovation, research, and development of the project.
