After this information and networking days, Project consortiums are beginning to form, and projects are being prepared. As Big Data is one of the hottest topics of European Union and H2020, the accepted projects will probably be the most promising. It was the last infomation day for big data topic prior to the approaching submission day in April. There is still room for big data providers. Parties interested in Big Data topics from Turkey are invited to join BDVA. TUBİTAK is also working on support for joining BDVA.
BDVA is a fully self-financed non–for-profit organisation under Belgian law. Currently there are 24 founding members from large and SME industry and research. The BDVA shall present an industry-led contractual counterpart to the European Commission for the implementation of the Big Data Value PPP cPPP. A basic principle is openness, transparency and inclusiveness.
