The project aims to prepare the SMEs to participate in research and development projects. With the involvement of SINCERE project participants to the brokerage event, the focus of the event will not change but the scope of the event will broaden and the networking opportunities will increase.
The conference will host more than 250 representatives from ICT companies and SMEs from more than 12 countries. The 2 day conference will give to participants the chance to introduce and discuss new project ideas in networking sessions, matchmaking and elevator pitch events. In the conference, the representatives of the European Commission will inform participants about EU Framework projects and the companies who have already presented a project will share their experiences on project writing and partnership building.
2nd ICT Brokerage Event is part of the FP6 EASIER project www.eti-easier.org, funded by the European Union, which seeks to increase the ICT research activity and strengthen the competitiveness of ICT SMEs. The thrust of the project is to deliver new RTD collaborations for FP7 and other European-wide opportunities with special emphasis on SMEs. Working in sixteen European regions, EASIER will catalyse EU RTD projects by drawing on the strengths of existing regional networks and building a new trans-national partnership to boost ICT SME participation in European research programmes.
If you present a project idea in the conference, your accomadation expenditures -up to 30 companies and the priority is given to the SMEs- will be financed by the EASIER project. Transportation, visa applications and accomodation will be organized by the Turkish EASIER project team. TAGES, as a partner in the EASIER project with TÜBİTAK and TBV from Turkey, will support you in meeting new partners and building new cooperation.
