Leyla Arsan, TAGES CEO, trained the young entrepreneurs on August 9th and 10th, 2006 to ‘Collaborative Networks Management’ Training within the ‘Young Entrepreneur Development Project’ (G3P) prepared by Technobee Company in collaboration with Istanbul Technical University Project Management Centre, and sponsored by Isbank.
Leyla Arsan trained the young entrepreneurs having the best project ideas within the G3P, which is organised at “İTÜ Arı Teknokent” building.
The first day of the training was on understanding the logic of the EU innovation politics and strategies and the logic of European integration. The second day of the training was more practical; students experienced writing a whole Framework Programme project form. The projects written by the participants are then discussed and evaluated.
The training focused on the importance and the necessity of establishing collaborative networks for EU projects. Arsan gave information on how to find potential partners, how to contact with partners, how to participate to networks, and how to manage a project consortium.
The programme of the training is designed in order to inform the participants on the following general topics:
- The EU fund structure
- Specialities of the EU programmes
- Reading and understanding the work programmes and the call for proposals documents
- Designing the project ideas according to the call
- Designing the project considering the capabilities and contributions of the project partners
- Relations with collaborative networks and partners
- Relations with the European Commission
The ‘Collaborative Networks Management’ training aimed to earn the participants innovative thought, the ability to make global collaboration, the capacity to design a project, and to understand the EU integration system.
The training realized through interactive method with the participation of approximately 20 students.
