TAGES will support Turkish ICT SMEs to be engaged in EU research by partnering with 16 partners from 12 countries in Europe by the EU FP6 Project “EASIER” where TAGES is one of the consultant partners which was submitted to FP6-2004-INNOVATION 5 Call. The aim of the project is to engage regional SMEs within the ICT sector in EU research in all over Europe.
TAGES will support Turkish SMEs in the ICT sector to engage them into EU research activities for 30 months under the EASIER Project activities. 16 partners from 12 countries are involved in the project where the coordinator is Sørlandets Teknologisenter AS from Norway and there are also Turkish partners: TÜBİTAK, Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey and TBV, Turkish Informatics Foundation of Turkey.
The EASIER Project proposal which was submitted to FP6-2004-INNOVATION 5 Call, has been successful in which TAGES is involved as a consultant partner from Turkey. The project proposal had been evaluated and passed the thresholds with the score 23,5 and was ranked as best of the SSAs by the European Commission For the time being, the negotiations between the project consortia and the European Commission continue.
