H2020 GLASS Research and Innovation Project where TAGES and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality have been partners is funded by the European Commission by receiving a € 4M grant!
GLASS will be a ‘European Common Services Web’, bringing closer together citizens, businesses and European governments. The goal is to make public administrations and public institutions open, efficient and inclusive, providing secure, interoperable, borderless, digital, personalised and citizen-driven public services for the EU population.
We are very excited to start a new H2020 Research and Innovation Project namely GLASS – SinGLe Sign-on eGovernAnce paradigm based on a distributed file exchange network for Security, transparency, cost effectiveness and truSt – which is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Programme, under DT-GOVERNANCE-05-2018-2019-2020 Call (New forms of delivering public goods and inclusive public services) with the budget of € 4M for the 36 months.
The Project brings together 12 interdisciplinary partners from 8 countries (Luxembourg, Greece, Germany, UK, Cyprus, Belgium, Portugal and Turkey) to deliver a novel e-governance model and addresses the challenges that governance structures in the EU are currently facing towards the democratization and openness of the public administration services.

TAGES will contribute on the dissemination and exploitation activities of the Project as an Innovation Partner and will also lead Risk Management & Quality Assurance, Business and Sustainability Research and Modelling, Use Cases Definition and Commercialization (Sustainability) and bridge to market activities. TAGES will also take part in demonstration activities in collaboration with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
The Project will start by January 2021 and will end by December 2023.
