TAGES, as one of the partners of the CitySDK Project, is going to organize HACKATHONIST 2014 on Smart City Applications, in cooperation with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) on May 8-11, 2014 in Istanbul.
HACKATHONIST is a developer competition event which is organized by TAGES and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) within CitySDK Project which aims to create a toolkit for the development of digital services within cities. The toolkit comprises of open and interoperable digital service interfaces as well as processes, guidelines and usability standards.

Now it is time for HACKATHONIST 2014! It will take place in Studio-X, Istanbul on May 8-11, 2014. The event will start by the trainings on CitySDK APIs and Imona cloud services and it will follow an Idea Creation Workshop where the ideas will be generated with the participation of developers, urban planners, designers and citizens on May 8, 2014. The participant developers will be inspired by these created ideas and they will try to develop some apps which will meet the needs of the citizens on Istanbul transportation. On May 9th 2014, the HACKATHONIST will give start and it will end at 19:00 on May 10, 2014. The presentations and the awards ceremony will be realized on May 11, 2014. After award ceremony, the participant developers will find a chance to meet the mentors of StartupBootCamp Istanbul and will be advised on how they could turn the apps into business.
