ICT 2015 took place from 20 to 22 October in Lisbon, Portugal. It offered more than 6000 visitors the possibility to “Innovate, Connect, Transform” our digital world. TAGES team was there to participate and also promote RADICAL and OPENISME Projects.
ICT 2015 in Lisbon, Portugal was a three day event with several parallel activities which allowed networking opportunities and hosted Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2016-2017 thematic sessions. The event took place from 20 to 22 October, and received more than 6000 visitors. Leyla Arsan, TAGES CEO, Aslihan Kagnici, Projects Consultant, and Erdem Gülgener, Board Member, were also there. When compared with the previous years, attendance from Turkey was good in the event, as there were many participants from the private sector, universities, and public sector.
The event had 2 European Commissioners attending, 127 speakers in 4 plenary and 15 parallel sessions, 140 exhibition booths and 120 networking sessions. The most popular sessions were about Big Data, Open Data, Smart Cities, and Learning Technologies which are also main focus topics of TAGES. All of the event was recorded and is available in the form of web streams, and videos. The event also had 23000 tweets with #ICT2015 and 5200 Twitter users actively joined the online debate and shared their thoughts.
TAGES Team watched Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2016-2017 ICT themed sessions, had meetings for new project ideas, and also promoted RADICAL (www.radical-project.eu ) and OPENISME (www.openisme.eu ) projects to other participants.
